Another old mix being reposted that has been offline for quite a few years now. This one was recorded around 2010 and is a mix of House / Tech / Electro. Not really what I play or listen to these days but it's fun to listen back to from time to time..

These older mixes are only going to be posted to my Hearthis, at least for now. Traffic on Soundcloud isn't great, it has been non-existent at the Facebook page I opened a few months ago, though I have to admit, I've not put any effort into attracting people to it. Truth be told, my heart isn't in it with Social Media, or the 'social' aspect to be more accurate, so whether it lasts remains to be seen. Gut feeling is that I'll keep my blog and stick with Hearthis because it's more cost effective and given where things are at, it's not worth paying for the other hosting platforms. It seems I'm back to going round in circles but at least I'm still posting for now.

Going back to the first few months of when I set this blog up, so late 2009 and early 2010, these 2 mixes of Disco & French influenced House have not been shared for probably 10 years or so. I think the second mix is the better of the two, the first especially suffering from some clipping / distortion, which I think is probably why I removed them. But, to hell with it, hardly anyone will notice, so why not have them up?

I've given the cover images a wee update, still pretty true to the originals though, unfortunately the tracklists are incomplete as I've lost them (and some of the tracks) through the years, but I've listed what I can. If anyone picks up any mistakes in the tracklists, or can fill in the blanks, please let me know so I can make the fixes!

Another mix from the vaults, another that I've never posted before and one that's pretty far out my comfort zone for mixing. This is from probably 10+ years ago, but exactly when I'm really not sure. There are a few mixes that I'm not pleased with which is probably why I never posted it, but I've been trying to move past being bogged down in my inner critic whilst I repopulate this blog with all the mixes I have stored on my hard drive.

This mix is a blend of Hip Hop on the chilled out side of things, with some R'n'B and chilled disco beats in for some variety, some of which are tracks sampled by Hip Hop artists through the years.

I didn't have a tracklist written down for this but I've filled it out as best I can. If anyone can help me if I've got anything wrong or missing, please give me shout because I really like having these things all correct and linked up.

This is a 'Hearthis' only mix for now, so no Soundcloud I'm afraid.

After a pretty turbulent period here, I'm going to try and get back in a flow of repopulating my corner of the web with the mixes I've got hidden away on my hard drive. There are quite a few that have either been offline for  a long time or I've never bothered uploading... normally because I wasn't satisfied with them for one reason or another, usually a small mistake or perhaps the flow didn't work for me, not to mention the fact, I don't play or listen to a lot of these things now so it doesn't seem relevant to post them, but f**k it, I'm throwing caution to the wind and posting them anyway. 

There is a bit of a problem also in that I always like to post a linked up tracklist and with a lot of these older mixes I don't have one written down, so I'm left listening to them and trying my best to figure it out. So, for a good chunk of the next few posts there will likely be some tracks missing.

This mix is a a house mix and is a bit of this and a bit of that, hence the title I have used. I think it's from around 2013 / 2014 and it's never been online before. It was just a 'hit record and see what happens' mix.
